Story
Our Cause
Celine and Ro first started ReadUp Youth during the summer of 2024 to make a true difference in their schools. Growing up in CCSD, they had first hand experience with the poor education they were receiving, so they decided to make a change, in the places that matter the most. their own schools. They first began by hosting a book drive in which they raised more than $10,000 worth in books and donated them to nonprofit organizations such as AfterSchoolAllStars. Now, they're building an app that personalizes literacy paragraphs for school kids. They plan to expand their reach into Nevada schools, hoping that one day ReadUp Youth will be a staple in every kid's educational journey.

Our mission is to enhance literacy levels and educational opportunities for all individuals, regardless of their background or circumstances. We aspire to create a more literate and informed society, where access to quality education is a right, not a privilege.
